About.
Who Am I?
My name is Andrew Johnson, and I am the Head Coach and Principal Physiotherapist at Stronger U. I first began helping family and friends in 2017, long before Stronger U became what it is today. My own training journey started even earlier, in 2014, after undergoing ACL rehabilitation — an experience that sparked my passion for movement, strength, and long-term recovery. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of supporting over 500 clients with their strength training, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation needs.
My Qualifications
I hold a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (First Class Honours), along with a year of study in Exercise and Nutrition Sciences.
My qualifications also include:
Strength System International Certification Levels 1, 2 & 3
Current completion of ASCA Level 1
Further training in Acupuncture and Dry Needling
Why I Do What I Do
I genuinely enjoy helping people — from the everyday beginner to the elite athlete — build confidence, strength, and resilience.
My goal is always the same: to find the most effective, sustainable, and evidence-based way to improve your movement, strength, and overall wellbeing.
I am committed to ongoing learning so I can offer the best possible care, no matter your age, ability, or goals.
How I Can Help You
People often ask, “Does strength training just mean getting stronger?”
My answer is always: Strength training is simply improving your body’s ability to move well, handle load, and function efficiently.
Whether your goal is to:
Build muscle
Reduce body fat
Get stronger
Move without pain
Recover from injury
Manage chronic conditions
…strength and strategic rehabilitation play a role in every outcome.
I work with all types of injuries — from musculoskeletal conditions and nerve-related issues to more complex presentations such as post-stroke rehabilitation.
Above all, my strength lies in this: I will never stop learning, improving, and striving to give every client the highest standard of care.
But enough about me — I’m here to learn about you, your goals, and how we can help you become the strongest version of yourself.
